Exclusive Agency Agreement Termination

Before you can market your property, the broker must sign a contract with you called an agency contract. An agency contract is a legally binding contract and it is important that you read and understand it. If you are not sure about the contractual terms, you should seek legal advice. Most officers will see themselves on an equal footing and won`t want to waste their time with someone who doesn`t want to treat them. Whether or not you can terminate your buyer`s agency contract depends largely on the terms of the contract, your relationship with your agent, and your particular circumstances.
